We were delighted to be part of the first UK audience to see the magical Disney movie Cinderella, Inspired by the classic Disney 1950 animated fairy tale, this stunning magical story has all your most memorable moments and more in this visually stunning movie.The magical story of Cinderella features the young Ella (Lily James) a gentle and very kind natured girl whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother
Ella happily welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home, but unfortunately all is not what it seams, as when Ella’s father suddenly passes away, Ella soon finds her life turned upside down by her cruel new family, who call her Cinderella. Ella remains kind and positive and remains true to her mothers dying wishes to “have courage and be kind.” despite the hardship that she faces as the family's servant girl.
Ella by chance meets as charming young man Kit (Richard Madden) in the woods one day, totally unaware he is really the Prince, and when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, Ella hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit. But Ella's wicked stepmother forbids her to attend the ball and rips her handmade dress, Ella is distressed and heartbroken, but with a little magic from Ella's fairy Godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) Cinderella will attend the ball and again meet her prince charming.
An amazing yet magical story, if you loved the classic Cinderella animation, then you will most certainly adore this magical tale of courage and true love, Cinderella is both moving, magical and humorous, a truly great timeless classic Disney movie enhanced and brought to life, A story of good overcoming evil and happily ever after. All we want from and expect from a Disney movie. We adored the movie and most defiantly cannot wait to watch it again.
