Sky Kids - Den Challenge

We have been having an amazing half term holiday and after all the trips out there really is nothing nicer then coming home and catching up on some of our favourite Sky Movies and Sky Kids shows, So what better way to catch up on our favourite shows then to build a cool den. So with the help of Sky kids we set about creating a cosy space where we could snuggle down.

It was great to use our imagination and create a special place where the kids could retreat to and watch their favourite Sky Kids shows. If you would like to build your very own den then follow these simple instructions.

You Will Need
A large sheet or Duvet cover
Ropes and pegs to secure den
Cushions to make your den cosy
Blankets to sit on or snuggle under

Step 1 - Choose an area of your home where you can set up your den, ensuring you have enough space, The boys choose to create theirs in their bedroom,
Step 2 - Use a  large chair or secure furniture and create a circle.
Step 3 - Drape over your bed sheet or duvet cover, Once you are happy with your design secure with pegs or rope.
Step 4 - Now your den is complete, Add some blankets, cushions and a few soft toys and blankets to make it comfortable, All you need to do now is snuggle inside and watch Sky Kids via your Ipad or TV, There really is nothing nicer.

Sky have announced that they are expanding their Kids library from 700 to 4,000 episodes, My boys are really pleased as we only watch Sky Kids and there is always a vast array of great shows and movies that keep us all entertained, I like chilling with the boys watching the Regular Show and Deadly 60.

Sky is offering a one-stop-shop for providing entertainment that won’t break the bank. From latest releases, to all-time favourites, the on demand service boasts a whole array for shows from Peppa Pig, Thomas The Tank Engine, The Octonauts, SpongeBob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer to Ben 10. Committed to offering great children’s entertainment, Sky has also launched a new dedicated kids section within the Sky+ homepage so shows can be accessed and watched with ease, in one place.

February 16’ will also see the introduction of a new Sky Kids app aimed at children aged between 4-9 years. The app will allow children in Sky homes the chance to catch up with loved programmes and favourite characters in a way that best suits them, whether travelling in the back of the car or from the comfort of their playroom. Shows will include Adventure Time, Ben And Holly's Little Kingdom, Johnny Test,Roary The Racing Car, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sofia The First are just to name a few.
