Spagehtti Bologense

We love Spaghetti Bologense, its our family favorite, We like a little spice but you can omit the chili if you wish.

1/2 Tablespoons of olive oil
500g of Minced lamb
1 Large onion (cut thinly)
1 Handful of button mushrooms
1 Carrot grated
2 Cloves of garlic
400g Chopped tomatoes
Large pinch of dried oregano
1/2 Green chili
1/2 Pint of water thickened with arrowroot
Salt and Pepper to taste
400g spaghetti

Step 1 - Gently fry onions and crushed garlic add the half of the green chili fry for a few 5 minutes or until onions have softened..
Step 2 - Next cook the the lamb until brown and then add grated carrot and mushroom and chopped tomatoes, bring to the boil adding the arrowroot water (this will give you a nice thick sauce)
Step 3 - Add the dried oregano and cook gently on a low heat leave to simmer for 20/30 minutes, Cook the spaghetti and then serve.
