As I love baking I was delighted to bake my favourite yummy Chocolate Brownies using Tate & Lyle Golden Caster Sugar.
185g dark chocolate
85g plain flour
40g coca powder
100g milk chocolate
3 large eggs
275g of Tate & Lyle Golden Caster Sugar
MethodPlace the butter in a saucepan on a low heat and melt then add the 185g of dark chocolate and melt - be careful not to burn the mixture, allow to cool.
Heat the oven to gas 4 160c, line a 20cm square tin baking tray with grease proof paper.
Sieve the flour and cocoa powder into a large bowl, then add in the 3 eggs and sugar - blend together until fully incorporated.
Chop the milk chocolate into large chunks and set aside
Next add and fold the dark butter chocolate mixture into the flour/egg mixture and incorporate fully, next add the chocolate chunks and fold in.
Add the mixture into the baking tray and bake in the oven for 25 minutes once cooled cut into large squares.
