Moroccan chicken with Knorr Naturally Tasty: Meal Ideas

Having quick and simple and healthy meals is essential for us a family, we are always on the go, so at the end of the day when it comes to dinner I want to put in the minimal effort required to achieve a tasty meal for the family, often I tend to pre-cook ahead just to save time. So I was delighted when I was given the opportunity to try Knorr Naturally Tasty, a mix spices and herb blends with no artificial preservatives and contains only natural ingredients.

I wasn't sure what to expect,  so I was really keen to give them a try, Knorr Naturally tasty come in six different varieties from Moroccan Chicken, Spaghetti Bolognese,Chilli Con Carne,Lasagne, Beef Tagine and Tuna Napolitana.

I love Morrocan food so this was my obvious choice to start with, I loved that on the front of the packet it had a shopping list of ingredients that I would need to get started, it made it so much easy to see first hand what I needed rather than searching for instructions on the back of the packet.

I was amazed how simple the entire cooking process was, I browned off the chicken and then added the Knorr Moroccan Chicken pack, followed by the tinned tomatoes and spinach (we did have the recommend courgette at home) after we added the recommended amount of water and the consistency was perfect, I left the chicken to cook on a low heat for 30 minutes you can cook in less time but I like my chicken very soft, it was really that simple, no cutting chopping or peeling as the Knorr pack has everything you would possibly need in the packet from onions, garlic, and spices.

The verdict - I was surprised how amazing the Moroccan Chicken looked, I served it with Couc Cous and was delighted with the overall taste, it was delicious and very moreish, even the kids cleaned their plates so that's a really good sign and my husband loved it, I will most defiantly be buying this again, I really looking forward to trying the other dishes my weekly menu planning has just taken or a completely new look thanks to Knorr Naturally Tasty.

Look out for the hashtag #knorrnaturallytasty to see how I get on with the other Knorr Naturally Tasty dishes, along with my verdict. Knorr Naturally Tasty are available from most major supermarkets and cost £0.89p. For more information check out www.knorr.co.uk/naturally-tasty

Our Homework Station Makeover & Tips

We are really excited to re-design my son's homework area, below you can see a before picture, the area was quite cluttered and there wasn't much space, so we cleared the table and allocated some space for stationary and storage

We also put the laptop on the table as often this can feature high in daily homework. It was really important for us to utilise my son's desk area and make space with just a few adjustments, we moved the TV and will be fixing it on a wall bracket to free up the desk area.

My son has much more space now and is enjoying his allocated homework area. which helps his stay focused and encourages him to do his homework! Below are top Home Work Tips. #HomeworkStationMakeover.

WOMEN ACROSS THE GLOBE ARE BEING ENCOURAGED TO FIND THEIR INSYNC MOMENTS

Activia has launched a fantastic new campaign which looks to inspire and help women find their ‘In Sync’ moments,Activia believes that women can achieve their goals and feel their best when they feel InSync and have a sense of harmony, order, and control.

Women across the globe are being encouraged to find their Insync moments as recent research reveals the barriers women face in reaching their greatest potential and how they can overcome them a global study, undertaken by Google and Global WebIndex on behalf of Danone Activia, looks at the common factors that hold women back from achieving their goals. Women’s inner critic was a common barrier identified, with 59% of women admitting it holds them back at work and 62% admitting it can negatively impact their personal life

The InSync campaign features stories from inspirational women from Victoria Pendleton and Katherine Jenkins, they both reflect on their lives and the ways that they stay InSync- balance career success, family life and finding personal fulfilment.

Welsh opera singer, Katherine Jenkins OBE - Welsh singer, Katherine Jenkins said
"I always want to put on the best show I can, every single night while I’m performing.  I absolutely love singing live and always look forward to going on tour.  I feel so lucky that I get to do it as my job.  Ensuring that I give can give my best on stage takes a lot of preparation, both mentally and physically.  Working with Activia, I have been able to give my fans, and women across the UK and Ireland, a view into my recording studio, how I prepare for my performances, and what I can achieve when I am feeling InSync.”

British Olympian, Victoria Pendleton shared the following ‘As an athlete, I was so focused on my body and being in tune about how I was feeling at all times. Most athletes will have their own routine to ‘get them in the zone’ and I was no different.  I used to think of it as being InSync.  Being part of this campaign has given me an opportunity to share my story of the balance of eating well, sleeping well, and making sure my mind is free from distractions, as some of the keys to my success.  I hope other women find inspiration from my experiences.’

Activia has also created an online quiz on the brand’s redesigned website .  In just 8 questions, they can identify how they may be most likely to find their InSync moments and get tips and advice. Activia’s website (www.danoneactivia.co.uk) gives women the chance to share their InSync stories via social media channels.
